Attention All Applicants and Respiratory Therapy Students Student Information

 

Please be aware that students accepted to the Health Professions Programs (Nursing, RT, CVT, Ortho Tech, OTA) at Â鶹ֱ²¥ are required to undergo a background check and/or a urine drug screening test before starting the program or being placed at a clinical site. We expect the cost of these procedures may be $70 - $120. The student will be responsible for paying these fees.

It should be noted that failure to pass either or both of these procedures may interfere with clinical placement and/or acceptance of the student into his / her selected program.

In addition to the background check and drugscreen, incoming students will be required to complete the follow:

• Physical
• TB test
• Flu shot
• CPR certification
• Purchase scrubs
• Medical consent signature
• Student Handbook & Computer Systems Security compliance signatures
